Archive Duplicate Scanner is a fully offline, local-only application. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or file content. Everything the app touches stays on your device.

You can view, move, or delete any of these files at any time. Deleting them resets the corresponding feature (cache, sessions, or trial date).
The app makes no automatic network connections. The only network activity occurs when you explicitly use these Help menu items:
The app reads files in the folders you select for scanning. It:
The app does not modify, upload, or copy your files. Only files you explicitly choose to trash are moved, and they go to the system Trash (recoverable).
Archive Duplicate Scanner is built on the following open-source libraries. None of these libraries perform any network requests or data collection when used within this app.

macOS: This app complies with Apple’s App Store privacy guidelines. It does not use any Apple privacy-sensitive APIs beyond user-selected file access.
Windows: This app complies with Microsoft Store policies and does not use any Windows data collection APIs.
This app does not collect any information from any users, including children. It is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
