Apple App Store Notice

This application is distributed through the Apple App Store. The Apple End User License Agreement (EULA) governs your use of the application and is available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Apple is not a party to this agreement and bears no responsibility for the application or its content.

1. What This Application Does

FolioBind: EPUB Studio converts source files that you already possess into EPUB ebooks. The supported source scope includes TXT, Markdown, DOCX, fixed-layout PDF, CBZ, ZIP image archives, and CBR. Where a source document refers to a picture — by web link or by cloud share link — the application may retrieve that picture and store it inside the finished book.

The application supplies no content. It ships no catalogue, no library, no search function, no list of websites and no links of any kind. It reads only the documents you select, and acts only on references those documents already contain, and only when you press a button.

The EPUB tools reject DRM-protected or otherwise unsupported encrypted publications. They do not remove or circumvent DRM. Standard EPUB font obfuscation may be preserved as part of an otherwise supported book.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MLOGICTECH grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use FolioBind: EPUB Studio on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use.

3. Pricing, Free Tier and Pro

Free tier. The app is free to download. It permits one successful conversion or EPUB edit per local calendar day, and includes the full editing and repair toolset without restriction.

FolioBind Pro removes the daily limit and unlocks batch conversion, offered as a monthly subscription (with any introductory trial shown by the App Store) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Pricing, billing period, and any trial eligibility are shown by the App Store at the point of purchase and may vary by region.

Purchases, subscriptions, and any refund are handled entirely by the App Store under Apple’s own policies. MLOGICTECH does not process, receive or store any payment or billing information. Refund requests should be directed to Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084

4. Your Content and Your Responsibility

This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it.

You are solely responsible for the documents you convert and for every picture the application retrieves on your instruction. By using the application you represent and warrant that:

You own the documents you convert, or are otherwise entitled to use them.
You have the right to download, copy and store each picture your documents refer to, whether under licence, permission of the rights holder, fair dealing / fair use, because the material is in the public domain, or because you created it yourself.
Your use of the application complies with all laws that apply to you, and with the terms of use of any website or service your documents refer to.

MLOGICTECH does not monitor, review, host, supply, endorse or have any knowledge of the documents you convert or the material you retrieve. We have no technical ability to do so — nothing you process ever reaches us.

You must not use the application to reproduce, store or distribute material you do not have the right to use. If you are unsure whether you hold the necessary rights to a particular picture or text, do not use the application on it.

5. No Affiliation

MLOGICTECH is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any website, publisher, cloud storage provider, retailer or content service that your documents may happen to refer to. Any trade marks that appear in material you process belong to their respective owners.

6. Network Features

The application makes network connections only in response to your actions:

Retrieving pictures. The application contacts the addresses contained in your documents. Those services are independent third parties, each with its own terms of use and privacy policy. Availability, speed and content are outside our control, and a link may fail, change or return something other than a picture.
Sharing and purchases. Described in Section 7.

The application performs no automatic scanning, downloading or transmission at launch or in the background.

Send to Kindle opens Apple’s system share sheet so you can choose the Kindle app or another installed destination. Mail opens the standard Mail composer with the EPUB attached. The application does not connect to an SMTP server and does not request or store mail passwords. The user chooses the recipient and confirms delivery in the system UI.

Kindle availability in the share sheet is controlled by iOS and by whether the Kindle app is installed and enabled. MLOGICTECH cannot guarantee that Kindle appears in a particular position or that Amazon accepts a document. Send to Kindle is an Amazon service, not ours — Amazon’s account, approved-sender, file-size, and delivery rules apply, and we cannot guarantee delivery or are responsible for anything Amazon does or does not do with a document you send.

The application offers a StoreKit subscription or lifetime purchase as described in Section 3. Apple processes payment and billing information; MLOGICTECH does not receive the user’s payment details.

8. Deletion and Data Loss — Important Disclaimer

The application can permanently delete files. Deleting a generated EPUB, or a generated EPUB together with its exact matching source TXT, removes the file(s) immediately and irreversibly — always after a confirmation dialog, which this disclaimer applies notwithstanding.

You are solely responsible for choosing which files to delete.
MLOGICTECH is not responsible for any data loss, accidental deletion, or damage arising from use of these features.
Always keep independent backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Deleting a matching source TXT alongside its EPUB is offered only when the app can verify the exact source fingerprint. An EPUB overwrite (editing and saving over the original) is built and validated locally, then the previous version is copied to the app’s Backups folder before a coordinated replacement is attempted; a failure leaves the source in place. Backups, generated books, and staged/imported files can each be cleared from Settings, which also removes them irreversibly.

9. Restrictions

You may not:

Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense or transfer the application or your licence
Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the application, except to the extent permitted by applicable law
Remove, alter or obscure any copyright notice or proprietary marking
Use the application to provide services to third parties on a commercial basis without a separate agreement
Use the application for any unlawful purpose
Use the application to remove, bypass or circumvent digital rights management

10. Ownership

The application and all intellectual property rights in it remain the exclusive property of MLOGICTECH. These Terms transfer no ownership to you. Ownership of the documents and pictures you process remains entirely with you and their respective rights holders; we claim nothing in them.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

MLOGICTECH does not warrant that the application will be error-free or uninterrupted, that chapter detection will correctly identify every chapter, that every image reference will be recognised, that any particular download will succeed, or that any share or email will be delivered. Results should be reviewed before you rely on them.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MLOGICTECH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF MLOGICTECH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

MLOGICTECH’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APPLICATION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APPLICATION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MLOGICTECH and its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the application, from the documents or material you process with it, or from your violation of these Terms.

15. Updates and Changes

MLOGICTECH may update the application and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or the App Store listing.

16. Termination

This licence is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination you must cease all use of the application and destroy all copies in your possession.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
