Privacy Policy - PacketPlanner (Angpao Planner)

1. Introduction

PacketPlanner / Angpao Planner ("the App") is provided by Modern Logic Tech Solutions ("we" or "us"). We prioritize your privacy and transparency.

2. Data Collection & Storage

Local Storage Only:

The App stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.

• Recipient Lists: Your recipient names, packet amounts, and groups are stored locally using device storage (Capacitor Preferences API and browser localStorage).
• Settings: Your language preference, theme choice, and currency symbol are stored locally.
• Calculator Data: Note types and inventory counts are stored locally.

No Cloud Sync:

Unlike some apps, PacketPlanner does not synchronize data across devices or upload data to any cloud service.

3. Payments & In-App Purchases

One-Time Purchase:

The App offers a one-time "Pro" upgrade that unlocks:

• Unlimited groups (Free users limited to 1 group)
• Export to Excel
• Backup/Restore data

• Ad-free experience (Android only)

• Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.
• Transaction Data: We may receive anonymous transaction receipts to validate your "Pro" status. This data does not include your personal identity.

4. Third-Party Services

Google Play Services & Apple StoreKit:

• Used for purchase validation on their respective platforms.
• We do not collect analytics or tracking data through these services.

AdMob (Android Free Users Only):

• The free version of the Android app displays banner ads at the bottom of the screen provided by Google AdMob.
• AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad targeting. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details.
• Pro users do not see any ads.

Windows Platform:

• The Windows version does not display any advertisements.
• All features are unlocked by default (no in-app purchases).
• Payment is handled through the Microsoft Store (see Section 3 below).

5. Platform-Specific Information

PacketPlanner is available on Android, iOS, and Windows. Some features and monetization models vary by platform:

Android

• Free Version Available: Yes, with limited features (1 group maximum)
• Displays Ads: Yes, banner ads at bottom (AdMob) in free version
• In-App Purchases: One-time Pro upgrade ($1.99) unlocks all features
• Payment Processing: Google Play Store

iOS

• Free Version Available: Yes, with limited features (1 group maximum)
• Displays Ads: No
• In-App Purchases: One-time Pro upgrade ($1.99) unlocks all features
• Payment Processing: Apple App Store

Windows

• Free Version Available: Free trial period (Microsoft Store managed)
• Displays Ads: No
• In-App Purchases: No – all features unlocked by default
• Payment Processing: Microsoft Store (one-time purchase after trial)
• License Model: Paid app with Microsoft Store trial period
• Data Storage: Uses Windows local storage API (same privacy as other platforms)

Microsoft Store Payments (Windows):

• The Windows version is a paid application available through the Microsoft Store
• Microsoft may offer a free trial period as configured in the Store listing
• After the trial period, you must purchase the app to continue using it
• All payments are processed by the Microsoft Store
• We do not collect or have access to your payment information
• Refunds are handled by Microsoft according to their policies

6. Permissions

The App requires the following permissions to function:

• Storage Access (Android): Required to export/import backup files and Excel reports.
• Network Access: Required to validate premium licenses and serve ads (free Android version only).
• Windows: No special permissions required. Uses standard Windows local storage.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by:

• iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → PacketPlanner → Delete App
• Android: Settings → Apps → PacketPlanner → Storage → Clear Data
• Windows: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → PacketPlanner → Uninstall

8. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally and we do not collect data from users, the app is safe for all ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
